I’m Maru Trimmer. I love self-care, sit down and enjoy tea or cup of coffee with a loved one, and to travel the world.
I am a passionate yoga instructor, healer, and advocate for mindful self-care. With over 12 years of experience, I’ve changed my path working from a corporation in a high level stress environment to dedicate my life to helping others reconnect with their bodies, minds, and spirits through nurturing and transformative practices.
My journey started as a yoga practice, then it grew into my heart to share with other the amazing experiences I was having through my practice. Through my journey I experienced chronic pain and was devastated when I heard the doctor say it was never going to go away. I made it my mission in life to help my body heal and have a better quality of life. My experience with chronic pain is what led me to a new path! It is what shaped me into the holistic healer and yoga teacher I am today.
At our studio, we focus on supporting women navigating life’s transitions, whether through menopause, recovery from illness or surgery, or managing chronic conditions. My offerings are tailored to meet your unique needs.
My classes are intentionally small, so I can provide hands-on support and create a deeply personalized experience just for you. Each session is infused with kindness, aromatherapy, hands of adjustments, self-care education and a heartfelt commitment to your well-being. When you join me, you’re not just coming to a class—you’re stepping into a supportive community that celebrates you. Together, we’ll create moments of joy, healing, and connection that ripple through every part of your life.
Join me on the mat and take the first step toward living with ease, balance, and joy.

Founded in 2012, The Studio was born out of a passion for yoga and a desire to share its transformative power with others. Originally started as a small group of friends in my living room. The Studio has since grown into a beautiful community where all share their desire to improve the quality of their lives through self-care.
Over the years, The Studio has evolved into a safe space for yoga, wellness, and community. We have expanded our offerings to include workshops, events, and one on one sessions.
My vision is to create a safe space where people can experience the joy, peace, healing and transformation that comes with a dedicated self-care practice. I am committed to providing high-quality instruction, fostering a supportive community, and promoting holistic wellness.

Hands on healing! Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that supports your body systems. It encourages that natural ability of your body to heal itself. Reiki therapy helps to reduce stress and to relax your body. It gives a sense of calming. It is grounding and helps to reduce anxiety and depression. Reiki also helps to reduce pain.
Reiki is practiced on you while you are resting on a massage bed or a chair. Wear comfortable clothes. I recommend removing jewelry. We place the hands above the body while you close your eyes, breath and relax. The placing of hands over your body delivers energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing.
Reiki fosters tissue and bone healing after injury or surgery. It stimulates the immune system. It is a great practice when receiving treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, before and after surgery and during recovery.
